Start by navigating to the App section from your dashboard's left sidebar menu. Select "App" to view a menu of all applications currently open for your restaurant. From there, locate and choose "POS" to access the Point of Sale interface.
Within the POS interface, make sure to enable crucial preferences such as "Enable POS," "Show External Orders," and "Order Finished Once Paid." Remember to save your preferences to activate the POS system successfully.
To manage orders, select "POS" from the menu bar on the left side of your POS dashboard. View your tables and floor plans to place a new order. Click on a table to see the menu, adjust quantities and variations, and then proceed to checkout by selecting your payment method.
Use the category button on the menu page to quickly navigate between menu parts. Utilize the search functionality to locate specific items quickly, and manage orders efficiently by switching between takeout, delivery, and dine-in options.
For maximum efficiency, use a separate device dedicated to the POS system, apart from the device used to manage the restaurant dashboard.
